Editorial policy

These principles explain how information in the directory is collected, verified and updated. They follow the Turkish Regulation on Promotion and Information Activities in Health Services (Official Gazette, 12 November 2025, no. 33075).

Verifying doctors

• Before publication we check the doctor’s diploma and specialty certificate and their registration with the medical or dental chamber.
• Verified profiles show the source and date of the check. Doctors whose verification is still in progress are labelled “Verification in progress” and are listed after verified doctors.
• Profiles contain only information the regulations allow: specialty, academic title, training and publications, place of work, contact details and availability.

Ranking

The order of results is never changed for payment and there is no sponsored placement. Verified doctors who speak the visitor’s priority language come first, followed by the nearest available time.

Prices, reviews and promotions

Turkish-language pages, and visitors in Turkey, never see prices, discounts, offers or patient reviews. On our international site, prices, offers and patient reviews appear only for clinics with a verified International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate, and only in countries whose rules allow them. Prices and offers are declared by the clinics and dated; the final price is set after a medical assessment.

Patient reviews

Only patients who contacted a doctor through Anamedsis, and whose request the clinic answered, can write a review, once per request. Patients give documented consent to publication and can withdraw it at any time with the personal link we email them. We check every review before publication and reject it only if it contains personal data, offensive content, advertising, someone else’s experience, or unsafe medical advice; we never remove a review because it is negative, and clinics cannot edit or remove reviews. “Highly rated” lists show doctors above a published threshold in an order that changes daily; they are not rankings.

Before and after photos

Photos are published only with the patient’s written consent, taken under the same conditions and without editing; procedure and photo dates are shown, and comments and sharing are disabled. Photos are shown only to visitors in countries where the rules allow it. If a patient withdraws consent, the photos are removed immediately.

Procedure pages

Procedure information is not published until a doctor has reviewed it; the reviewer’s name and the review date are shown on the page.
